NBP International a company operating successfully for over 20 years, has created a new division for sustainable products/technologies. This division’s first initiative is to introduce an innovative system called RinkSense (RS) to ice arenas.
A SIMPLE IDEA: COLDER WATER ICE RESURFACING
The RS system enables an ice arena to use lower temperature water, without sacrificing ice quality.
The RS system is simple to install and easy to use, requiring little maintenance and no additional energy input.
BENEFIT: BETTER ICE
The RS system produces a hard, clear ice surface. Fewer and shallower grooves and more visible logos and lines are the signature of RS ice. As well, RS’ lower temperature resurfacing water results in a more consistent ice sheet temperature over the operating day, improving late day and evening conditions.
IMPACT: LESS ENERGY - REDUCED EMISSIONS
Less energy is consumed because of lower refrigeration demand and no requirement to heat large quantities of water. Less energy consumed means reduced CO2 Emissions - it is good for the environment, good for people and good for the planet we share!
